As the children work on their Autobiography Project (click to view project instructions), I am sharing this excellent VCOP (Vocabulary, Connectives, Openers, Punctuation) resource the students can use to increase the level and quality of their written work.

Please ensure completed Allergy forms are returned to the class ASAP (even if your child has no allergies)
1- Students should complete Fall themed sentences for the 4 different types of "poetic language'.
2- The students who have not already completed the weekly work in Communicating Skills workbook should catch up over the weekend and show the finish pages (16, 18-20) to me on Tuesday in shaa Allah.
3- Autobiography Project: Students should have rough drafts for the first 3 chapters by
1- Please have the students search the Canadian Encyclopedia's timeline (click for the link) for events they feel were significant between the years 1670 and 1812.
- Input "1670" in the from field, and "1812" in the to field at the top of the page (to the right of keywords)
- Scroll through the entries and copy the date and key points of the 2-3 events you feel are important
